The Protime RK transponder is recommended for rental karting. No maintenance is necessary because this transponder is delivered with a Lithium-ion battery that lasts for 5 years. An 'active' loop is required to activate the transponder. The battery charge level is sent to the decoder when the transponder passes over the loop.
